Please join us Friday, September 17, 2010 as we celebrate Jim's life with a very special program - 8:00 PM EDT (1:00 AM BST)
An extract of Jim's original profile appears below :
m0ng00se comes from the brand of a bmx bike I had (and still have) when I was a kid. I started using the nickname m0ng00se when I needed a cb handle and it's stuck with me.
I have been told that I am very immature for my age, so don't expect me to act my age LOL. I am kind of shy too, so I hope I get over that fast!
My music interest began young. My mom found out, when I was little, that when "Song Sung Blue" from Neil Diamond played on the radio it would calm me down. So the first piece of music in my collection is that 45 (thats a vinyl record for you youngsters lol) and it got played alot. So I guess I have been collecting music since I was about 3 or 4 years old (Thanks MOM!)
As my music interest grew, when I was about 14 years old I got a small mixer and two tape decks (later I added two CD players too). I would keep myself busy in my room for hours/days mixing music and making mix tapes for me and my friends. I have always wanted to DJ but the opportunity never came up until now.
So for the most part 80s music is my passion, but I listen to and enjoy everything (Yes everything) and will probably play anything too.
Lets see what you listeners want in a DJ show because what you want is important to me so give me some feedback! I will do my best with what I have to offer and we'll go from there.
